We are seeking an Analyst to play a critical role in our Global Forecasting team. Your insights and output will inform critical decision-making by clients across multiple countries and sectors including, for government, public health, pharmaceutical, medtech, investor and other business sectors.


Responsibilites

  • Initially focussing on the Covid-19 pandemic - produce insights that inform client decisions on the global impact of infection rates, vaccine campaigns, vaccine production and global supply.
  • Develop a full understanding of our macro-economic health and life-science datasets
  • Be familiar with and understand forecasting models to predict vaccination timeline, and macro-level outcomes.
  • As well as working with quantitative data, also combine qualitative information such as government policy responses to draw insights.
  • Liaise with clients regularly, ensuring their needs are met and fulfilling requests.
  • Coordinate with analysts and researcher team to gather data and build presentations and insights for clients.
  • Translate complicated data into graphical forms in a clear and insightful manner.
  • Present work to clients and have client calls to discuss recent developments.
  • Lead client demonstrations and calls to show prospective clients and current clients how they can find data within the platform and utilise Airfinity’s proprietary tools.
  • Using client feedback, help drive the macro risk forecasting product forward, contributing to the product roadmap, and coordinating with the team to fulfil those outcomes.

Requirements

  • Educated to a Masters degree level or higher, with a STEM orientation
  • Interest in lifesciences preferred
  • Numerically literate
  • Experienced in building, handling and interpreting complex data sets, drawn from a wide range of sources
  • Experience in modelling and data analysis
  • Able to distill broad data sets into meaningful insights and consumable reports for non-technical clients
  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good stakeholder presence and relationship skills
  • Collaborative mindset and team player
  • Able to work at pace with reliability and accuracy
