We are Growth Lending Limited. We work with innovative and high-growth SMEs accelerating their growth by providing flexible credit solutions. We provide facilities from 100,000 to 30m and have lent more than 1bn to more than 500 SMEs to date. We have a global footprint, with offices in London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge and Cape Town.
This role will give you invaluable experience managing investments in highly disruptive SMEs in the UK and other international markets. Our PMs truly own their work end-to-end, supporting our clients in a meaningful, impactful way. The initial focus in on gaining accurate financial information each month, but we have found time and again that this inevitably expands to anticipating businesses' financial needs, helping our portfolio companies' leaders to manage both risk and opportunities more meaningfully.
You will broaden your understanding of a wide range of business models, markets and risk profiles. Your experience of building relationships with CEOs and CFOs of innovative disruptors, as well as more established businesses, will also deepen. Working with the CFOs of our portfolio businesses, you'll effectively collate accurate financial information, anticipating the financial needs of the relevant businesses and helping them to manage the portfolio's risk and opportunities. Weekly flash reporting, monthly portfolio analysis and assisting with quarterly reporting of the portfolio's performance to our investors will continuously enhance your toolkit.
We need from you the experience and skills required to grasp the technical aspects of this role confidently from the start. Successful team members radiate maturity, confidence and approachability, and are able to adjust their style to get the best from our diverse clients. You will be consistently proactive, with a genuine drive to provide your clients and colleagues with your best work. You will already understand the SME market, particularly in the UK, and the challenges of working with finance in small businesses. You will be self-motivated and driven to get all the elements of your work right the first time. Extensive knowledge of our receivables finance, corporate finance and commercial finance products, along with industry, will set you up for continuous development and growth.
