Your Role

In your role as Global Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the development, facilitation, and maintenance of all contractual agreements and documentation across all BresMed practice areas and geographies. You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, manage a small Contract Administrator team, and liaise heavily with the Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams, as well as with affiliated Enterprise companies on joint projects.

Primary responsibilities

  • Contract and MSA development and maintenance
    • Negotiate contractual terms with clients; serve as signatory on all documents
    • Facilitates signing, filing and return of all contractual documentation
    • Track the status of contract agreements for newly awarded projects
    • Track, maintain, and proactively update/renegotiate all existing MSAs
    • Update and maintain commercial terms, working with Board and BD team
    • Update and maintain all BresMed contractual templates (e.g., NDA, MSA, etc.)
    • Serve as liaison to outside counsel to raise and resolve legal issues
    • Develop and maintain relationships with client procurement teams
  • Project level pricing
    • Maintain rates and rate cards by client and in accordance with negotiated MSAs
    • Support project teams with pricing allocation on individual projects / SOWs
    • Contribute to the development of processes and training on rates and pricing, working with Ops / Finance
  • RFI completion and coordination
    • Lead and coordinate development and submission of all RFIs
    • Maintain database of RFI content and previous responses (by client and date)
  • Management of purchase orders
    • Support the turnaround of work order and PO documentation
  • Team management
    • Manage team of Contract Administrator(s), responsible for performance management, workload allocation, career path, etc.
    • Liaise regularly with BD, Finance and Ops teams to ensure compliance and adaptation of processes and procedures

Essential Skills amp; Experience:

  • 6-10 years of experience with relevant expertise and successful track record in creating and executing contractual agreements in a professional services environment
  • Experience in creating, applying, and disseminating new processes and procedures in a rapidly changing entrepreneurial growth environment
  • Experience working with legal and procurement functions within top tier pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
  • Ability to lead others and collaborate in a matrix environment
  • Develop and nurture relationships with senior client executives to understand their strategic issues and key priorities
