Job Description

(We are currently operating a fully remote working model and this will be subject to review and change in line with government regulations and to ensure the safety of all of our employees. We are otherwise passionate around offering flexible working from our Bath office)

Using your outstanding interpersonal, time management and communication skills, you will be responsible for the smooth delivery of projects, big and small. From the moment we receive the brief you will become the point of contact for the client and responsible for distilling that brief into a project plan with a clear set of deliverables and objectives. From sourcing writers and designers, to coordinating with the social media team on how best to reach our audience, you will be responsible for every element of the project. We work across internal and external teams and to tight deadlines so staying on top of all your projects, reporting on progress or problems is part of your day to day. As a senior project manager, you will be asked for your expertise before the point of sale and will often be required to attend meetings with the commercial team to provide insights and advice. Your knowledge and expertise will also be used to support and encourage growth of your wider team members.

You will be part of the Creative Solutions team, that provide a crucial service to the commercial teams allowing them to generate revenue across all Future brands. Our Design and Content arm provides innovative sales packages and pitching options, and our Delivery Team ensures all projects run efficiently and deliver above expectations. The team works across a wide range of projects such as video productions, online content marketing, digital advertising and print, and we coordinate with internal departments and third party suppliers to put it all together. It is a fast paced department that offers daily challenges, and we have a fantastic team that loves what they do.

As part of your role you will:

  • Manage a range of sophisticated projects with multi channel deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal and external suppliers, ensuring all projects are tracking on time.
  • Raising POs and monitoring costs to protect the Pamp;L.
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Client Management.
  • Respond to commercial enquiries in line with our departments values.
  • Assigned to a set range of verticals - your must get to know the teams and brands within to improve the departments ability to deliver successful campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust parameters to ensure successful delivery. Produce End of Campaign reports by using a range of social media and analytics tools. Ensuring departmental objectives and workflows are being followed.
  • Assist with Junior team members training as appropriate - you will be assigned a team member to mentor. ( Not a direct report)
  • Work with the Head of department to identify upcoming issues, resource issues, non profitable campaigns.
  • Assist the senior team with solving problems that affect the work of the department.
  • Be an ambassador for the department by embodying our values
  • Use your expertise to advise the wider PM team or commercial teams on how to proceed.
  • Attend pre sale meetings to provide insight and recommendations.
  • Attend kick off meetings for your projects or junior team members to ensure the brief hand off is completed thoroughly. .
  • Continue to expand your knowledge of our industry to improve the offering of the Project Management team.

Requirements

What do I need to succeed?

  • Experience as a project manager in a creative industry
  • Experience of print advertising / digital advertising / online content / video production
  • Knowledge of social media targeting and publishing
  • Ability to manage a complex and high volume workload.
  • Confidence to manage cross departmental issues and ensure the Project Management teams aims and objectives are communicated and maintained.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A desire to get stuck in and get the work done
