About the Role

We are looking to hire a People amp; Talent Assistant who will be responsible for dealing with employee queries; maintaining employee data; preparing monthly reports; supporting the administration of the onboarding process for new joiners; and helping to arrange training and other learning initiatives.

The role offers a Level 3 CIPD Apprenticeship in HR Support. This will provide the apprentice the opportunity to learn on the job and develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours.

You will be part of a small but energetic and enthusiastic team that focuses on people operations, talent acquisition and learning and development. This role will provide an opportunity to work across all of these functional areas.

Day-to-Day

  • Inputting, updating and maintaining accurate employee records in our employee systems for example our employee database and employee files
  • Preparing documents such as employment contracts, change letters, employee reference requests
  • Supporting with administration of onboarding of new hires such as right to work documents, information for payroll processes
  • Supporting induction and onboarding of new hires including background checks and liaising with IT operations
  • Dealing with employee questions on basic queries, escalating to relevant members of the team as required
  • Responding to requests for information via our central inbox
  • Supporting with the preparation of monthly employee data reporting
  • Supporting with ad-hoc and regular information requests regarding employee data
  • Supporting the talent acquisition manager using the ATS (applicant tracking system) for example posting job advertisements or scheduling interviews with hiring managers and candidates where this cannot be automated
  • Responding to candidate queries in relation to their recruitment processes
  • Support the Learning amp; Development (Lamp;D) manager with coordinating Lamp;D events such as the onboarding programme, The Learning Academy or management development programme
  • Supporting quarterly appraisal process ensuring information in our appraisal tool is accurate and up to date
  • Provide support to the team with ad-hoc tasks and project based work

About the Apprenticeship

  • Level 3 HR Support
  • CIPD Foundation Level 3 qualification
