About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, experienced B2B marketer to build and grow Cytora’s content, PR and communications function. This important and influential role places you at the helm of Cytora’s marketing team as we enter a thrilling growth phase.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is broadly anchored around the following three dimensions:

  • Drive industry wide understanding and awareness of a revolutionary new technology category, helping the world’s insurers understand why it’s so important, urgent and strategic.
  • Help turn Cytora into a legendary B2B brand, recognised as category leaders pioneering the future of digital insurance.
  • Bring Cytora’s purpose, vision and commercial value to life, through owned content, media coverage and high-impact campaigns - creating awareness and demand for our technology.

This is a senior role that requires strong marketing experience, relentless creativity and hunger for results. A strategic and a tactical mind. Someone who can bring together an integrated plan for all things content amp; comms, and play a vital role in the day-to-day production (doing) and management (leading) of its successful execution.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Shape and execute Cytora’s Content, Communications amp; PR strategy, to successfully position Cytora as a leading technology partner for the world’s biggest insurers.
  • Create and operationalise a content and media calendar across all necessary dimensions (audience, channel, funnel)
  • Develop and refine concise narratives and tight message houses that align to our corporate POV, activate and amplify them across all content and communications.
  • Work with our PR agency, and necessary freelancers, to execute a communications strategy across industry press and relevant media, delivering measurable results aligned to quarterly objectives.
  • Create, build and grow a content hub on Cytora’s website, that becomes a destination for the insurance industry. Leading content creation and curation across all relevant channels within the hub (blog, magazine, podcast, video, email etc.)
  • Maintain a calendar of relevant events, awards, and partnerships - and own Cytora’s entry to them
  • Build a direct network of influential industry thought leaders, personalities, journalists and bloggers
  • Work with our founders and key spokespeople to develop their profiles as industry thought leaders
  • Evaluate where and how Cytora should be engaging with audiences online, and on social
  • Establish an unwavering standard of excellence, and uniqueness, across all Cytora content
  • Ensure consistent tone-of-voice, messaging and personality from top of funnel to bottom of funnel

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience successfully leading content, PR and communications for a B2B tech company
  • Marketing leadership experience with an insurtech, fintech or insurance company
  • Experience in creating multi-channel content marketing plans, across the funnel
  • Experience in creating + producing B2B content across all channels
  • Deep creativity, ability to challenge normal and execute on new playbooks
  • A student of advertising greats, masterful copy and innovative marketing
  • Interest in human behavioural psychology Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience with CRM, CMS, and marketing automation tools
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices, beneficial
