Job Description
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Team Lead, for Camelot; you'll be an integral part of a 15-strong team responsible for the data migration of circa 25 terabytes from on-prem to cloud-based solutions (AWS). How you'll make a difference
- Developing specific projects and business requirements on the Big Data Platform; including the development for data ingestion, transformation and outputs for projects based on business priority
- Provide development strategies to deliver complex business intelligence solutions, with an understanding of data integration, engineering and processing
- Work closely with the Project Leads to deliver the data solution using the right technology, whilst demonstrating an underlying understanding and approach of data architecture
- Responsible for ensuring the development follows the complete SDLC cycle.
What you'll bring to the table
- The ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and inspire a wider team through large scale projects
- Experience in Cloud-based platforms (preferably AWS, and ideally exposure to EMR and S3)
- Foundational data integration tools (preferably Apache SPARK)
- Database programming languages (specifically SQL)
- Large-scale data migration projects into production environments
- Proven capability in documenting ELT processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
