What we are looking for

We’re on the lookout for an exceptional PR Manager (US amp; UK) who will use creative communications and PR to build brand awareness, generate press coverage, drive thought leadership and manage our media relations program in the United States and United Kingdom. In this role, you will manage and guide our US and UK PR agencies to secure high-quality press coverage, build relationships with key business, technology and finance reporters, secure press briefings and podcast interviews for our CEO, launch product news and customer stories to the media and, ultimately, be the guardian of our US and UK PR activities and reputation. Telling stories should be at the heart of everything you do in this role, while also being strategically focused on how our PR activities generate consistent, high-quality press coverage, boost our share of voice against competitors, drive referral traffic and positively impact our SEO. You should be actively monitoring the news daily to look for opportunities for us to comment on industry trends/breaking news stories, while also proactively coming up with new PR campaign ideas. If you have experience writing and launching research studies and trend reports, that would be ideal as these reports are critical to our long-term PR success and thought leadership. To be successful in this role, you will need to have exceptional project management skills, be the kind of storyteller that captures everyone’s attention the moment you speak (or write) and can handle the fast pace and deadlines of PR (i.e. press releases, media alerts, bylines, press commentary, etc.). To ensure that we’re being seen as a leader in the space, you will also find and secure speaking opportunities for our CEO and help us gain recognition through industry awards for our brand, products and senior executives. This role will require someone who is comfortable with collaborating with various internal teams (i.e. product, sales, content, growth) as well as with external stakeholders (i.e. customers, partners, influencers). This will be essential for getting customer success stories and product stories told in the most compelling way possible, in the right channels and in the right media outlets. Reporting into the Director of Communications, this role will directly manage our PR agencies for the US and UK. You should be no stranger to providing clear direction and guidance to PR agencies to ensure that all PR tactics are planned in advance, executed in collaboration with other stakeholders/teams, meet deadlines and produce the highest quality results.
