Central Functions is formed of the teams and people that serve the entire business. These people are integral to the smooth running of the business; ensuring everyone is paid on time, that materials are sourced and arrive promptly, that we meet our legal obligations and that our health, safety, and security is safeguarded.

The Facilities team is responsible for maintaining all THG sites, ensuring that all colleagues and visitors are in a clean, safe environment while on site.

Soft Services Coordinator will be responsible for the supervision of all agency cleaning staff, focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour whilst on duty, ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the building. Soft services Coordinator will also oversee contracted delivery of Pest Control, Grounds Maintenance and Waste Management and Recycling services as well as provide onsite support and liaise with Facilities Manager on all aspects of site Facilities Management.

Responsibilities

• Establish cleaning standards and procedures for cleaners and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures
• Schedule and assigning specific duties/roles to cleaners and ensure that they are carried out
• Inspect cleaning equipment on a regular basis for wear and tear and request replacement
• Control and monitor the usage of cleaning materials
• Order and maintain stock of all janitorial and cleaning supplies for the sites
• Provide any form of required assistance to cleaners while they carry out their duties.
• Provide any form of required assistance to Front of House Supervisor in terms of ad-hoc cleaning, special request cleaning and additional cleaning.
• Control and monitor the waste management and recycling strategy
• Control and monitor pest control service
• Control and monitor landscaping of grounds

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive approach to the role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent time keeping
• Ability to deal with and manage the cleaning staff in a professional and helpful manner.
• Basic Health and Safety knowledge.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft office)
• Experience of working with risk assessments and safe systems of work would be an advantage
• Full UK driving license
