We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager to guide further development and improvements of our disruptive analytical solutions for life sciences research. The successful candidate will work at the interface between key customers, the sales team and the Ramp;D teams focusing especially on user experience, user guidance and workflow coverage to deliver winning product solutions. Who we are
Refeyn is developing mass photometry, a new technology for the analysis of biomolecules that measures the mass of single molecules with light. Refeyn spun out the University of Oxford’s Department of Chemistry in 2018 and is uniquely positioned for rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Define strategy and roadmap especially for solution offerings based on consolidated customer requirements, market dynamics and business potential, focussing particularly on user experience, software and data analysis
- Guide Ramp;D efforts delivering on the roadmap, champion requirement and back-log management for software development roadmap
- Run beta and usability pilot programs with early-stage products
- Be an expert with respect to the competition and what ‘good’ looks like
- Act as product champion in the company
Requirements
- Understanding of the applications of our products in the life sciences - degree in e.g. biology or biochemistry
- Adequate experience in managing products for life sciences research, experience in software product management and processes
- Experience with cloud-connected analytical equipment a plus
- Personal fit to the company culture passionate, driven by quality and achieving results, high level of integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Regular travel to customers, conferences or workshops (up to 40%)
