As a Marketing Assistant at Twinkl you’ll work as part of a wider marketing team, creating the content for TikTok. Ideally you will have a background or a passion for delivering learning in new and exciting ways and an understanding of the educational community. You will use this passion to bring our TikTok channel to life for educators and their learners, through challenges, bitesize learning and relatable humorous content.
You will be responsible for ideating and adapting content for your channel and posting at key times of engagement. You’ll be responsible for growing this new channel and successfully implementing various marketing campaigns aimed at new and established customers.
Although you'll primarily be working on Tik Tok, you will have experience in video production and editing which you will use to assist the Video Executive/Channel Lead for YouTube to compile videos across our social network more generally. You strive to become an expert in your area and will work together with the marketing team to ideate on new content, keep up with what's trending and explore new video features in social media channels.
Ongoing projects/how you’ll spend your day:
Using your creative skills to plan, record and edit high quality and impactful video content for our followers on TikTok and other social media channels.
Engaging with and responding to educators following our channel.
Spotting trends, researching content and working on a strategy to grow your channel.
Supporting the wider marketing team with copywriting, ideas and video content.
You’ll join a supportive, hardworking and talented team bursting with lots of big ideas, exciting projects and opportunities to learn and develop.
Requirements
To succeed in the role, you will:
Have an engaging personality and be comfortable appearing in front of the camera.
Will be competent at producing and editing video content.
Have an educational background or some experience in or around the education sector.
In this role, you will learn:
To make highly engaging, entertaining video content with support from our team videographer.
Strategies to grow a social media channel.
To produce content using the Twinkl tone of voice.
