2021 is going to be big

As a company we have big plans, to continue our expansion and growth in the UK, but also launching our programs in the US this spring. We want to build an iconic company that becomes one of the great European businesses of our generation.

To kick start the year we announced our Series B funding round. At $44 million, it’s the largest venture raise from a UK EdTech company in history. The round, which was led by General Catalyst, also features GV (Google Ventures), and includes Audacious Ventures, Latitude and SemperVirens. Index Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, who contributed to a $16 million Series A investment last year, also participated in the round.

We have also taken a bold step forward by changing our name from WhiteHat to Multiverse. The inspiration for WhiteHat came from computer hacking for good. While we spent four successful years hacking the system, we were only just getting started. Inspired by the theory that there’s an infinite number of alternative universes, our new name, Multiverse, communicates our belief in launching limitless possibilities.



    Requirements

    Multiverse is tearing down a broken system and building an outstanding alternative to university that opens up many career opportunities. We work with businesses to help them embrace digital transformation, and offer high-quality apprenticeships and training to young people and those wanting to upskill.

    We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager with strong commercial acumen to own our Digital Strategy. You’ll be responsible for defining our digital channel mix and executing our digital strategy to drive growth, supporting strategic objectives.

    This role will report into the Head of B2B Marketing, and work closely with Sales, GTM Operations and Product to define a commercial, data-driven B2B Digital Marketing strategy. Your ultimate aim will be to increase the revenue contribution from marketing paid channels, by growing the size of our addressable audience and converting high quality leads from our high value audience segments.

    In this role you will:

    • Build foundations for spend (infrastructure and strategy, early performance indicators)
    • Define strategy and budgeting pitch for spend across B2B
    • Be able to directly attribute revenue through high-quality MQL’s and multi-touch attribution modelling
    • Define the digital channel mix, its execution and testing. To be specific: PPC, Programmatic (including social) and affiliate.
    • Work to build a performance marketing engine across tracking, attribution, automation, and optimisation
    • Use a data-driven methodology to improve effectiveness in all marketing paid channels
    • Work with GTM Sales Operations, Tech and Product to integrate marketing technology and tools needed to drive efficiencies
    • Work with the marketing team to create aligned consumer communications across all channels to ensure consistent brand messages
    • Proven experience in performance marketing, from strategy through to execution and optimisation. (Have used some/all: Google Ads, Bing Ads, SA360, DV360, Campaign Manager, Amazon Marketing Services, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads and Linkedin Ads)
    • A data-driven mindset and strong commercial acumen
    • Comfortable with producing excel sheet reports and formulas
    • As an inbound specialist, experience with working with product and UX teams
    • Have owned or managed websites or products, like apps etc (agency experience or client-side)
    • An understanding of SEO and Marketing Technology, AB testing tools
    • Familiarity with marketing to B2B audiences
    • Ability to lead on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
