We are looking for an awesome Group Financial Accountant to support a mixture of transactional and group finance activities across all Huma brands. You bring financial experience and a can-do attitude to navigate financial structures and processes while helping us scale the business rapidly. The Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for a broad range of duties including statutory compliance, financial reporting, maintenance of a strong internal control environment and business support.
By joining our finance amp; strategy team, you will contribute to solving their key challenges including ensuring accuracy of financial records as we continue to develop our financial operations. You will take ownership of the ongoing finance processes and define efficient and effective workflows, constantly seeking improvement.
Your mission :
  • Responsibility and ownership of accounting and reporting of 6+ group entities
  • Prepare monthly group management accounts
  • Ownership of Group Consolidation
  • Manage accounts payable, cash flow and general banking related matters
  • Oversee transactional finance prepared by FA, ledger management and ensure accuracy
  • Review, develop and controlling accounting standards and policies
  • Support in developing efficient processes and systems to support the growth of the business
  • Management and coordination of Year End Audit and external audit requirements
  • Tax and yearly compliance - VAT, Intrastat, PSA/ P11D, Ramp;D
  • Support Finance team and mentor where required
  • Ad hoc projects and tasks

From day one in this role we’ll expect you to have :
  • A minimum 2 years PQE experience and 5+ years experience in accounting
  • An ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualification and a degree in a related subject
  • Experience with consolidation of multiple entities and multi currency essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Accounting and technical principles
  • Prior experience in audit and account preparation
