The Role:
We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals, capable of working in a busy, team driven environment. Reporting to the Cell Leader, you will be working within a team inside the factory assisting with preparing, packaging, and other steps along the production process.
Typical duties include, but are not restricted to:
- Working on the factories busy production lines
- Wrapping and packaging fresh produce
- Sorting and grading fresh produce for quality standards
- Preparing various fresh products for labelling and dispatch
Operatives will be working to ensure that customer standards are maintained at all times, along with a safe clean, working environment.
Please note this position involves, repetitive physical movement, working in a temperature controlled (3 to 5c) environment and will involve periods of long standing. Occasional heavy lifting will also be required.
The Hours:
These vacancies are for full time, permanent, day shift positions with a fixed 12-hour shift pattern, 4 days on and 4 days off.
Requirements
If you have previous Factory/FMCG experience, particularly in the Fresh Produce industry, we would be very keen to hear from you.
We also require individuals with the following:
- Good communication skills English Level 1 or above
- Good attention to detail
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong Team Player
- Able to work under pressure amp; to deadlines
- Positive attitude, Flexibility, Hard-worker
