ABOUT THE ROLE

Goodlord’s mission is to provide the best renting experience. And we know in order to achieve this we need to continue recruiting a great bunch of Goodlordians and setting the pace by being a Great Place to Work.

So we’re on the hunt for a Junior Talent Partner to complete our Talent Trio - although will be the eighth member of our People and Talent team - who will be passionate about making sure potential future Goodlordians have a great recruitment experience, Hiring Managers are supported and we are constantly evolving to make sure we are being the best we can be!

The day to day stuff:

No two days are ever the same at Goodlord so what you’ll be up to will vary. The pace we move at also means priorities will change and you’ll need to be comfortable with this (we’ll support you!). But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy.

Interviewing amp; Hiring Goodlordians - (this will take up the majority of your time)

  • Ownership of light touch, high volume roles from inception to completion - always creating an exceptional candidate experience and fully supporting our hiring teams
  • Meeting and greeting candidates; creating an unforgettable experience
  • Supporting the Talent Lead by scheduling interviews, coordinating debrief meetings, collecting and communicating feedback to candidates in a timely manner
  • Generating offer letters to send to our new starters for all roles (regardless of if you ‘own’ them)
  • Ensuring our applicant tracking system (Workable) is kept up to date

Attracting Goodlordians

  • Collaboratively working with Marketing to manage our social media platforms and to keep our Careers page up to date
  • Supporting on any future attraction amp; hiring events (such as university fairs or group hiring events)
  • Working with our People Ops Exec to attract candidates to our intern, work experience and possible graduate programmes

Reporting and Ad hoc Project work

  • Generating monthly recruitment reports for our race fairness commitment charter
  • Keeping all systems amp; tracking reports up to date and providing weekly status updates to the Talent Lead

*Please note that for the time being you will be working remotely so should have a space that you are able to do this from, however you will need to be in the London office at least two days a week in the near future (as we slowly emerge from lockdown!)

We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, landlord and tenant. We knew generation rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution.

And we did. Like all high growth companies it’s been a bit of a roller coaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with over 800 happy customers and exciting new products. We have ambitious plans but with William Reeve at the helm alongside co-founder Tom Mundy and a brilliant team of over 180 talented Goodlordians we are confident we’ll achieve these.
