Job Description

Selecta is the largest provider of unattended self-serve coffee and convenience food in Europe, leading the way in vending solutions and specialist coffee services. We are hiring a Regional Account Manager to join our team and support the retention and growth of Sales Support and Remote Sales teams through excellent solution selling skills and disruptive sales strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Selectas business within our core clients, selling the full range of Selectas products and services, across all industry verticals. This will predominantly be into existing clients worth, and/or have scope for, between 5,000 and 250,000 AER. They will do this within a defined Geography or territory of clients.

We are open to this role being remote with frequent travel, as such we have advertised the same single role in numerous locations.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable to deliver yearly, quarterly and monthly sales targets.
  • Deliver contract retention, client optimisation and new business targets.
  • Daily contact dealings with existing and prospective clients to negotiate both new contracts.
  • Identifying and implementing sales sourcing strategy, through existing client base.
  • Accountable for client base NPS (Net Promoter Score) feedback.
  • Build and deliver sales plan around key solutions and concepts in line with targets.
  • Develop and optimise sales through CCEP and SCS client base, where applicable.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate management information as required by the business.
  • Monitor and manage pipeline in CRM/MSD, in line with pipeline to conversion expectations.
  • Support the Regional Sales Manager to deliver the very best in client service, whilst achieving the expected team GP and revenue for each financial year.
  • Adherence to the ‘OneSelecta’ way of working and contact strategy.
  • Develop contacts and relationships with key personnel within your client base.
  • Build strong relationships internally and embody the Selecta culture.
  • Ensure you document activities correctly within Selecta systems.
  • Role model knowledge of Selectas products, brands, services and revenue management.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc duties or projects within the Selecta Sales amp; Operations teams.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a sales related position.
  • The ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with clients and employ the consultative approach in sales / business development conversations.
  • Ability to build and develop long-term relationships with client base.
  • Ability to bring ideas, new processes and strategy to the position.
  • A tenacious and upbeat attitude.
  • The ability to influence others, to have a positive impact on performance.
  • Confident, with a high level of self-motivation, possessing the ability to work to own initiative for long periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely, logically, and inspirationally to internal and external parties.
  • Ability to challenge through disruptive selling, to drive change and high performance through client base.
  • You must be present in the UK and already hold the right to work in the UK permanently in order to be considered.
