We are looking for a Full time Nursery Assistant to join our school in Wandsworth.


About the school:

Our Wandsworth preschool features an indoor play area that opens out to its outdoor garden, creating a seamless play space that children can use in any weather condition. Its high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows ensure plenty of natural light. The school is a bright, calming environment, with plenty of wide-open spaces for children to run around and explore.


What is the role?

  • You'll create meaningful relationships with the children, your team and with parents to provide the best service for our families.
  • Ensure that every child's well being is met providing a thriving and safe environment.
  • Safeguarding all children in the setting and making sure any child protection concerns are always appropriately acted upon immediately.
  • You will observe, monitor and support delivering activities and learning experiences linked to the EYFS.
  • Ensure children’s progress and achievements are regularly and effectively assessed and recorded. Including any activities, served meals and medication administered.
  • Meet the needs of individual children, having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures, and medical histories.
  • Learn and maintain high standards in the nursery.
  • Support and serve food to children, ensuring any special dietary requirements are met at all times.

What will you do?

You'll work closely to support the people in your nursery and you’ll be an ambassador for our values and a gate keeper for our great culture. You will have accountability for the following:

  • Team Player be part of a fantastic team and forge great relationships within your team and everyone in the nursery setting.
  • Setting up you’ll help to create inspiring learning places, utilising indoor and outdoor space.
  • Teaching Be hands on helping to deliver a great learning experience for our children and support the team to meet curriculum aims and objectives. You’ll take the children that do full days for a relaxing afternoon activity.
  • Curriculum help Kïdo to deliver the best and most up to date curriculum for our children
  • Relationships You will encourage open lines of feedback and communication between colleagues, parents and children. You’ll create meaningful relationships within your team and with parents to provide the best service for our families.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by the nursery management.


Requirements

Previous experince working with children.
