We are a thriving collection of highly skilled finance professionals based in London, Manchester, Bristol and Cambridge in the UK, and Cape Town in South Africa. We are blazing a trail, providing bespoke lending solutions to high growth, innovative and disruptive SMEs through growth loans, term loans and working capital facilities.
This position is to cover the maternity leave of our art director. She has been in the position for nearly six years and has created a rich, imaginative visual language for our marketing activities that is celebrated internally and externally. Working in a marketing team of six and reporting to our head of content and marketing, the role is based in our London office and involves managing and mentoring a junior designer.
We need a talented, commercial illustrator and designer who is enthusiastic about stepping into another’s shoes and finding ways to add valuewithout sweeping change. We won’t ask you to simply ape the existing style, but you will need to move forward in a way that enables our art director to step back into the role comfortably after her maternity leave.
You will be responsible for the research, ideation and creation of original work to accompany our articles . You will work in a range of media, creating assets for our social-media channels. You’ll design the layout of cards and slides, and will repurpose existing artwork. You’ll create important collateral for our client-facing teams, including extensive guides and one-pagers, and will be responsible for ensuring that all of our marketing assets are aligned to brand guidelines. You will also work closely with our web developers, to ensure that everything the team creates is optimally displayed.
You are an expert in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You have experience of web design, including WordPress, and CRM tools such as MailChimp. You will have created optimised assets for social media and paid campaigns and will be a whizz with infographics. Experience of working in a larger team is essential, as is the proven ability to train and manage a junior designer.
