Job Description

  • Hours: 37.5 Monday Friday flexibility to work outside of these hours when needed

Reporting to and working closely with the Business Development Director, this role will focus on developing accounts to build long lasting relationships with clients. You will support the Business Development Director in ensuring effective financial management is in place to achieve revenue, profit and cash targets and to meet Woven requirements.

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of a business development strategy and annual account plan to ensure revenues and growth targets are achieved and exceeded in line with company expectations whilst ensuring that clients and customers receive a great service at great value.

Key Duties amp; Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the account development strategy and delivery plans are aligned to the Woven strategy for product and service proposition across market sectors.
  • Conduct regular reviews of tactical account plans, monitor and take action to ensure that targets are met, including submitting accurate and timely reports.
  • Support best practice account planning across the Business Unit and the wider Woven Business.
  • Develop case studies and reference material to strengthen Woven’s capability and sales opportunities
  • Identify and drive organic growth opportunities across the business area.
  • Ensure an account development strategy is in place and delivers the growth aspirations of the contracts in line with the commitment to the Business Unit targets.
  • Lead and engage in the development of a network of senior relationships with current customers, potential customers, partners and stakeholders in order to anticipate and meet Woven’s existing and future needs.
  • Ensure that the account plan captures the needs and expectations of key stakeholders and that any engagement across the accounts are managed in accordance with account objectives.
  • Ensure that Woven is represented as having an industry leading relationship in support of the client’s business and customer objectives.
  • To secure reliable client intelligence, set and deliver account development plans to ensure our services remain at the leading edge.
  • To lead and manage the client governance and contract relationship approach including, but not limited to, MBR’s / QBR’s to effectively provide contract oversight.

Requirements

About You

Ideally you will have BPO experience gained from working within a highly competitive and commercial outsourcing environment. A proven track record in business development, account growth, and delivery in complex environments is essential for this role along with demonstrable understanding of client engagement and bidding.

Excellent written and communication skills are a pre-requisite for this role as you will be the first point of contact for key clients on all matters relating to their accounts.

It would be advantageous if you are familiar with digital, telephony, online, mail order and indirect channels with UK and European market insights.

Key Attributes

  • Previous experience in an Account Management or Business Development role
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to maintain existing relationships.
  • Ability to identify and convert opportunities to upsell
  • Tenacious and driven to achieve targets
  • A technical or digitally focused background is desired
  • Previous experience working within a contact centre or BPO desirable
