We make and sell Wooden Garden Buildings online and we are looking for a Qualified Electrician to help maintain the effectiveness of our machinery and buildings. If this is you, apply today and take your first step towards a successful career with us.
Each day you'll be:
- Ensuring electrical equipment on our site is fully functioning and safe to use.
- Installing and maintaining new systems on our site.
- Improving the efficiency of old systems to save cost.

The ideal candidate must also be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems. The goal will be to produce and maintain well functioning electrical connections to minimize the probability of accidents and maximize usability of electricity in all facilities.
- Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
Requirements
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Level 3 qualification or higher in an electrical discipline (2330/AM2/ONC)
- Machine control systems experience - PLC/HMI/CNC
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Practical IT experience - Terminating Cat5e, Cat6
