The Senior Platform Engineer supports the constant technical change that we are embracing and will become a key contact for the development teams, offering advice, access to services, billing information, ways of working, standards, controls.
The Senior Platform Engineer manages, maintains, operates and oversees the use of public cloud platforms - providing a structure to meet the needs of the teams that consume the services within.
The Senior Platform Engineer coaches and influences developers, encourages them to work with the Shared Platform Team. They share advice, tips, knowledge and expertise, encourage developers to take up new cloud services and update or retire superseded ones.
