Operations are at the heart of our customers’ experience here at THG. We manufacture a wide range of sports nutrition and cosmetic consumer goods that we then despatch to our customers in over 200 countries worldwide from our purpose built, innovative Manufacturing and Distribution Centres.

Due to rapid growth, THG is looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Manager with a strong Lean Manufacturing background and a keen interest in Manufacturing Operations. The CI Manager will join the Manufacturing team, based at THG’s Warrington site, leading operational improvement projects across FMCG Manufacturing sites located globally.

Main responsibilities include:

• Owning the global Manufacturing profit improvement plan
• Support operational integrations for new acquisitions
• Introduce World Class Manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques
• Further embed a Continuous Improvement culture across the global operation
• Identify, coordinate and drive process improvement initiatives

Requirements

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity you should have the following skills / experience

• Degree qualification (ideally Engineering)
• Knowledge of best practices / lean / six-sigma / WCM methodologies
• Experience leading CI projects in a Manufacturing environment
• Project management experience
• Analytical and creative approach to problem-solving
• Commercially astute
• Leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
• You will also need to be able to demonstrate strong examples where you have worked on improvement programmes, detailing each stage from source through to successful execution.

You will also need transport to get to our site in Burtonwood, Warrington
