Role Summary
The Content Marketing Executive is a key role within the edison365 Marketing team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive content marketing plan that encompasses all of edison365’s online and offline marketing channels and aligns to our broader Marketing and business strategies. Reporting into the Marketing Manager and with a dotted-line report into the Head of Marketing and Communications, the role entails working on a routine basis to develop and evolve our message in collaboration with senior internal stakeholders, our business partners and external experts. Reports to: Marketing Manager
Hours of work: 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
Based: Hybrid role with negotiable mix of Marlow (Surrey, UK) office and remote working
Main responsibilities
- Content Marketing. Design and deliver a robust content marketing framework to support edison365 marketing campaigns and customer communications.
- Content Development. Create content to support the content marketing framework, marketing/communications campaigns and our search engine optimisation programme.
- Event Support. Develop engaging promotional and presentation content to support key executive speaking opportunities.
- Social Media. Develop content and campaigns to grow our online followership on key social media platforms (particularly Linkedin).
- Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Automation. Executive creative content marketing campaigns using our CRM system.
Requirements
Ideal candidate profile
- Recent university graduate (minimum second-class Honours degree) in the following or related disciplines: Business, Marketing, Communications, Media/Journalism.
- Two to four years' experience of working in a role with an emphasis on business-to-business communications across all media.
- Passion for marketing communications, content development and storytelling.
- Experience of developing content to support Public Relations campaigns.
- Practical knowledge of video editing and production.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management systems, particularly HubSpot, an advantage.
Skills and abilities
- Ability to write well and with a high-degree of accuracy on a deadline.
- Proficiency in all standard Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of the main applications within the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro).
- Understanding of broader business-to-business marketing processes.
- Effective at time management and workload prioritisation.
Required experience
- Essential: No less than two years' experience in a content marketing role.
- Desirable: Three or more years' experience in a content marketing role.
