Job Summary amp; Purpose

The Subscriptions Marketing team are responsible for all direct-to-consumer marketing, promoting Future’s portfolio of print and digital titles to both existing and potential customers. The overall objective of the team is to sustainably increase subscription revenues through optimised marketing campaigns via a variety of online and offline channels.

Working within the Retention area of the Marketing team, you will support activity to retain print and digital subscribers, supporting cross-vertical marketing campaigns, analysing reports, providing key customer service support and striving to improve customer experience.

Key role responsibilities and skills
  • Create campaigns that retain or winback subscribers, improve onboarding experience and improve our service
  • Provide regular reporting/commentary to surface regular retention and customer service insights
  • Provide key customer service support, liaising with our customer service team and magazine teams
  • Support testing and roll-out of essential new propositions and developments to our Mymagazine customer service portal
  • Raise POs and manage print free requests.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through survey feedback
  • Provide crucial support to the Retention Marketing Manager and Head of Retention in the delivery of marketing activity and customer service across Future’s magazine brands.

Requirements

Essential skills and experience

  • You may have a customer service or admin background and want to take your first steps into marketing or you may be a marketing/business studies graduate seeking your first role.
  • Be an enthusiast of Future's brands and have a real connection to our audience.
  • Committed to customer satisfaction and delivering a timely, positive, response.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in the written word and you’ll find typos annoying.
  • You are a competent user of Google Sheets, G-Suite and Excel
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to develop relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Adopt a customer-centric approach to ensure that the customer receives excellent customer service.
