As a Management Accountant, you will be one of the first hires in the Finance function at FitXR. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be tasked with establishing the finance function at FitXR in a way that will enable us to continue to rapidly scale the company. You will have an opportunity to set up processes and tools from scratch and form a team around you to execute the tasks.
Responsibilities
- Own the financial control and accounting elements of finance function, ensuring the company has timely, reliable and accurate information.
- Build effective, efficient amp; scalable processes - driving automation and bringing in relevant tools where possible
- Work with outsourced advisors on statutory accounting and bring transactional finance, AP/AR/bank/credit control, in house.
- Manage Video Games Tax Relief applications
- Oversee any future grant funding or debt application

Requirements
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
- Strong technical accountant with good attention to detail
- Experience managing day-to-day Finance (month end and management accounting)
- Desire to work in a rapidly growing scale-up
Desired Skills and Experience
- Startup experience or demonstrable interest
- Successfully applied for Innovate UK grants or loans (or similar Government support)
- Demonstrable knowledge of VGTR and/or Ramp;D Tax Credits
