We empower patients to better manage their healthcare by allowing them to easily order and track their prescriptions in real-time. What makes Phlo different? At Phlo we can deliver acute and repeat prescriptions whether through the NHS or a private healthcare provider. In London, we offer a 4-hour time slot, same-day delivery service, and offer next day delivery throughout the rest of the UK. We are now preparing to expand our same-day delivery service throughout the rest of England.

What you’ll do
You will be working in a Glasgow-based start-up environment with teams consisting of product owners, designers, developers, marketers and pharmacists to grow Phlo’s real-time prescription delivery service and digital prescribing B2B product suite.
This is a full-time role. You will be working fully remote until government guidelines state otherwise. Once Covid rules have been relaxed, Phlo plans operates a flexible working programme. Our HQ is in a co-working space in Glasgow and we’re flexible whether you work from here or remotely. If you work remotely, we will require that you come into the office now and again to meet and socialise with the team.
The Role:
We are looking an associate product owner to be part of our growing product team.
You will be supporting the development and growth of our digital pharmacy products.
You will work with our product lead and our pharmacy team to fully understand user needs.
You will be focused on the delivery of product requirements through the creation, refinement and management of objective led projects with key success metrics.
You will work closely with our product, engineering and design teams to build products recognisable on quality of design and functionality.
You will work with Phlo’s product lead and growing team to align product priorities, vision and value and to deliver the product roadmap.
What you will be doing day to day:
- Discovering and translating user needs to product requirements
- Breaking down product requirements with stakeholders and your product team
- Working with our product lead and teams to take product requirements from discovery to delivery to validation
- Building and maintaining an up-to-date market knowledge
- Building and maintaining knowledge of business wide requirements and priorities
- Creating user story maps and user stories to support project specifications
- Enabling your product team with all the necessary information and documentation to deliver projects
- Working with designers and engineers to map out user flows
- Analysing data to make informed product decisions
- Delivering value and product market fit
Requirements
The Person:
You will have a working understanding of the product ownership role and what is required of a product owner in a cross functional product team.
You will understand Agile practices and what they can bring to the operation and delivery of a cross functional product team.
You will be a people person and able to identify and prioritise core needs and requirements.
You will have a knowledge of user experience design and user journey mapping.
You will be comfortable working in a cross-functional role.
