Your challenge:
You will be working with the wider team to really expand our branded Home amp; Living product offering. This is a role for an experienced buyer to manage a list of key accounts.
Within a year, you'll have killed it if:
- You have brought on numerous key accounts and big name brands which have significantly improved our range
- You have developed and improved the assortment and sales for key brands
What you'll be up to
- Managing a list of key accounts amp; leads who we consider critical to our growth
- Reaching out and pitching Fy! to brands, getting them excited about the opportunity to sell on our platform
- Use our CRM platforms (Salesforce and Salesloft) to:
- Meticulously record all details for brands
- Manage a pipeline of brands/leads
- Know our shop inside-out; identify where we have trend, category or price-point gaps in our assortment and fill-it with products our customers will love.
- Negotiate key terms and conditions with Fy!, including prices and payment terms
- Recognise key suppliers for Fy! and make product selections appropriate to our customer profile.
- Review sales performances, report on what is and isn’t working and continuously optimise the product offering
Requirements
First and foremost you've got a passion for the products we sell and good industry knowledge. You're super ambitious and have a strong bias towards hitting targets.
- 5+ years experience in home and gift buying
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Experience is managing key accounts
- Hunger for a fast-paced environment with constant change
- A business focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results driven mentality
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Passion for products and empathy for brands and suppliers (you understand the basics behind how different brands operate and can recognise key ways Fy! can improve brands' online sales)
- Good familiarity with eCommerce buying and merchandising
- Connections with home and living brands a plus
- Mastery of sales tools, experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Hubspot, PipeDrive (or similar tool) a plus
