Talent Acquisition - a core function of our People team - is responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring the fantastic employees who help make Starling a success.

As a Talent Acquisition Partner for Operations, you will ensure that we continue to be an employer of choice for the largest area of the bank in terms of employees. Our operations’ teams are responsible for the onboarding and ongoing servicing needs of our customers. Our financial crime prevention teams are also responsible for keeping our customers’ money safe..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders and the wider People team to scope, and define hiring requirements and build a TA plan to meet these needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with our Operations leaders.
  • Managing the end to end talent acquisition process to provide a great candidate experience, including sourcing, shortlisting and conducting first round interviews where appropriate; evaluating candidates and providing feedback; through to offer negotiation and on-boarding.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to build, and manage MI to help drive data driven decisions about our sourcing strategy and hiring process.
  • Help raise awareness of Starling Bank, being a brand ambassador and always looking for new ways to showcase Starling as an employer of choice.

Requirements

  • Comfortable cultivating and maintaining relationships, especially across roles, industries, and personality types both internally and with candidates.
  • Demonstrable experience in a recruiting / talent acquisition role within an in-house function.
  • Evidence that you have supported the hiring of customer operations related positions in areas such as AML amp; Fraud, Pay Op’s and Customer Relations; exposure to high volume hiring for contact centre environments would also be a bonus
  • Experience working on projects i.e. employer branding to ensure we continue to remain an attractive employer of choice.
  • Ability to balance immediate and long term hiring needs through strategic planning and prioritisation of work.
