Dermatica is a healthtech startup with a mission to make dermatology accessible and affordable to all. To do this, we’re harnessing technology and combining it with formulation science and clinical excellence.
We are looking for a Procurement and supply chain controller to join our rapidly growing NPD team to manage materials planning, inventory management and procurement in a fast paced environment within the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
You will work across several brands working closely with our NPD and operation teams to ensure stocks and goods are well controlled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support NPD team to ensure ‘best cost’ delivered at NPD stage for new projects
- Develop procurement strategies and processes to ensure ‘maverick’ spend minimise
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for consumables/packaging and raw materials for pharmaceutical and personal care brands
- Source new materials, from either existing or new approved suppliers, through the correct due diligence processes to meet the business needs whilst optimising the commercial benefit
- Implement a multiple supplier strategy to help mitigate supply risks, ensuring there is a healthy mix of suppliers across all categories
Monitoring, managing and improving controllable COG’s.
- Analyse amp; manage inventory to minimise stock delays, reduce scrappage amp; ensure continuity of supply
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly stock analysis and reports
- To produce reports and statistics to measure procurement and inventory management KPIS
- Forecasting for cosmetic and pharmaceutical batch production
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have good experience of supplier relationship management, with a solid background and proven track record in inventory management.
- Experience working with suppliers amp; operations within personal care/pharmaceutical industry
- Forecasting and planning capabilities
- Supply Chain management
- Excellent Excel skills
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a start-up or fast paced environment and a real passion for skincare or cosmetics
- Experience with MRP (material requirement planning) systems
