VC Partnerships Manager -- fully remote role based in the UK or Europe

Role Overview

We’re looking for an aspirational, entrepreneurial Venture Capital Partnerships Manager to join our high performing Partnerships team to initiate, scale and maintain existing long term relationships with VC’s, accelerators, incubators and the wider European investment community. This really is an incredibly rare opportunity to build out your personal network and become hyper-connected in the European venture capital amp; investment community.

This role will suit someone independent amp; demonstrably passionate about our product and how it is revolutionizing the way start-ups are funded, someone with the natural capacity for building relationships, as well as critical and ‘first principles’ thinking. You will have a bias to action, be creative in your execution and pride yourself on delivering results against ambitious targets within a matter of weeks.

VC partnerships are a key growth driver for Uncapped and you will have a key role in supporting the Head of Strategic Partnerships in delivering success across the channel. This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role with high impact at one of Europe’s fastest growing fintech startups!

Responsibilities

  • Work with our existing VC amp; investor partners to drive channel growth across Europe
  • Manage the full partner lifecycle including identifying potential leads, conducting cold outreach, leading Zoom calls and managing a pipeline with the aim of exceeding individual targets
  • Devise creative ways to keep existing partners engaged
  • Help feed into KPI setting for VC amp; investor partnerships
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams including sales
  • Be active in the startup ecosystem as an ambassador of Uncapped including attending events such as conferences or pitch events

Requirements

What skills you’ll need

  • Experience in a venture capital fund, accelerator, incubator or family office (or similar). Or, you may have a proven track record of selling software / products / services into VC’s and have a deep understanding of the European startup / VC ecosystem amp; how startups are funded
  • Experience building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers
  • Be comfortable working towards ambitious targets
  • Be coachable and receptive to receiving feedback from team members
  • In an ideal world, you will have a ready-made network in the early stage investment community which you can leverage from day 1
  • You take an active interest in keeping up-to-date with the European startup scene so you can have insightful discussions with partners
  • Fluent written and verbal English (proficiency in German would also be advantageous)
  • Working knowledge of a CRM such as Pipedrive, Hubspot or Salesforce
  • A strong grasp of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint amp; Word) and/or G-Suite
  • High degree of numeracy and comfort with analysis
  • Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills; acute attention to detail
