Facilities Co-ordinator

Location: ICON, Sunbank Lane, Altrincham WA15 0PS

THG is looking to recruit a Facilities Co-ordinator who will be based at our new distribution centre in Altrincham, with some travel to Omega, Burtonwood, Warrington, to support a team that manages a range of properties spread across the globe with co-ordinating planned maintenance activities.

You will be required to use your own initiative and work as part of a team, with support and guidance from the Group Facilities Co-ordinator.

Main Activities / Tasks:

You will be required to

  • Plan Pre-Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works.
  • Organise schedule for PPMs and ensure works are carried out efficiently and in a cost-effective manner that results in as minimal disruption to the business as is possible.
  • Ensure that all contractors involved are booked in so that they know which sites they are attending and when they are expected
  • Ensure that all relevant stakeholders have also been provided with adequate notice of any PPMs so that they can plan / adjust their workload / distribution of staff accordingly
  • Identify problems and propose solutions
  • Raise purchase orders and track progress
  • Ensure that all contactors have fully delivered the services that they were contracted to provide
  • Follow up on any remedial works or issues that arise as a result of any PPMs.
  • Ensure that invoices are processed in a timely manner.
  • Look for opportunities to reduce costs / ensure value for money wherever possible
  • Ensure that all relevant compliance certificates have been provided by contractors and logged and filed in an orderly manner

Requirements

  • Experience in admin role and ideally with facilities team
  • Strong communication skills (fluent English)
  • Good at working under pressure, managing your time and other peoples’ time and capable of prioritising effectively, dealing with emergencies and solving problems
  • Good understanding of H amp; S
  • Ability to build a rapport with staff at all levels of the operation
  • Ability to remain focused with a good attention to detail
  • Highly Numerate

This is a monday to friday office hours role but flexibility is required as you may be required to support out of hours from time to time.
