Facilities Manager Omega

Location: Omega, WA5 3TP

THG is looking to recruit a Facilities Manager, with warehouse/fulfilment/production/manufacturing FM experience, to manage all the FM requirements on site regarding Planned, Quoted and Reactive (QPR). You will be expected to identify areas of improvement and implement a strategy to improve the service delivery to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for management of cost, delivery, compliance and efficiency of QPRs and to manage all tasks holistically.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing the onsite maintenance and recycling teams and ensuring agreed KPIs are met;
  • Managing and updating all IRIS tickets on site within the agreed response times via FM Hub
  • Managing all Quoted, Reactive and Planned works on site via the in-house techs and third party contractors
  • Liaising with the contract cleaning company to ensure standards are achieved and weekly audits completed
  • Managing contractors and suppliers in line with the THG Contractor Management Policy
  • Managing the maintenance and repairs for all onsite MHE
  • Managing tenders for contracts and controlling of purchase orders expenditure;
  • Working alongside the shift/site managers and contractor teams to minimise disruption to the business;
  • Managing small works programmes;
  • Create a suitable environment for the purpose and needs of the facility
  • Use best business practices to manage and reduce operation costs
  • Create a budget for various facility needs and expenses
  • Compare costs for various services and goods before choosing the best options for the facility
  • Identify areas of maintenance within the building and contracting maintenance services as needed
  • Track building upkeep as well as anticipated long- and short-term improvements and maintenance
  • Keep the surrounding grounds properly cared for and landscaped
  • Interview and hire facility employees and contractors, such as maintenance staff/contractors
  • Handle certain administrative tasks, such as preparing reports for the business
  • Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility

Requirements

  • Experience in Facilities Management for a warehouse/fulfilment/production/manufacturing facility
  • Strong Communication and influencing skills

  • Capable of working independently and also as part of a Team
  • Attention to detail but also capable of understanding the bigger picture

This is a Monday to Friday office hours role but flexibility is required as you may be required to support out of hours from time to time.
