The TeamThe Finance team has been central to supporting the business through thiscontinued growth. Headed up by Shaun McCabe (a proven Finance leader in Digital amp; Technology), the team is laser focused onthinking insight not simply numbers,adding value across the business and acting as atrue commercial partnerat every step.The role will includeReporting into the Finance Reporting and Controls team leader, you’ll be using Tableau to provide a highly accurate and consistent suite of financial reports to automate processes, deliver day to day financial and control reports, and answer common questions. In addition, your SQL skills will be needed to deep dive into our data rich business to respond to all sorts of ad hoc queries.Our ever-expanding business changes by the day, and we add new revenue streams and suppliers all the time, so you will be seeking opportunities to automate processes whenever possible and develop flexible reports that can be easily maintained.On one typical day, you may be supporting the team through the month end close, helping troubleshoot problems and identifying areas for future improvement of processes. The next, you may be working with product and data teams to support project delivery. Working in a rapidly evolving business like ours, there isalways a new challenge and opportunities to develop your skill setand turn your hand to new things.Key responsibilities include- Work closely with the finance teamsto deliver consistent and reconciled data for the finance team, automate processes (with appropriate checks in place) and build trust and confidence in data- Support the analytical needs of finance by developing compelling and interactive visualisations and dashboards using Tableau, whilst also building out our Tableau suite of reporting to minimise rework where possible- Work closely with product and data teams to understand system developments, make impact assessments, and deliver quality requirements. - Support the expansion of self-serve capability within FinanceThis is atruly career defining role for someone passionate about changing the way we think about data looking for an opportunity to join a highly rated team.
