Job Description

The Role: Global eCommerce amp; Loyalty Director

We are looking for an outstanding eCommerce amp; Loyalty Director to join our disruptive digital team. You should be an influential leader and strategic thinker with a proven ability to deliver profit and growth. Reporting to the Director of Digital, the Global eCommerce Directtor will assume responsibility for directing the trading team, overseeing the loyalty proposition, and project managing key deliverables while working cross-functionally with other senior stakeholders across the business.

The Responsibilities:

Team Management:

  • Lead the team in global expansion and delivey of key projects while simultaneously overseeing day-to-day trading of CT.com and ensuring continual optimization of trade and merchandizing
  • Partner closely with the Supply Chain team on Integration with new 3PL’s to improve the localised customer experience in key markets
  • Support the personal development of each team member ensuring they are always clear on the goals and objectives they are working towards.
  • Lead by example promoting professionalism and encouraging drive and motivation while maintaining limitless thinking

Website Trading amp; Expansion:

  • Responsible for the global commercial trading of all 12 websites in UK, US, CA, IE, EU, IT, SP, DE, FR, AU, NL and HK
  • Annual Retail Budget planning from a bottom up approach, based on historical sales data, current market trends and the tech roadmap
  • Researching and planning of new territory launches: oversee, with the Head of Ecomm, further expansion into the APAC region, including the launch of a Singapore site later this year and an HK site translation
  • Oversee the ongoing forecasting of all new product launches, carried out by the Ecommerce Managers as well as the monthly regional Demand Plan of all SKUs, carried out by the Sr Ecommerce Managers and Planning team.
  • Hold quarterly reforecasting meetings with Ecom Managers, in partnership with Financial Planning team, to assess current trading performance by site, and review trends and BOY forecasts
  • Continuously review existing trading tactics to maximise sales globally and suggest new, dynamic initiatives where appropriate
  • Analyse web analytics to identify opportunities for future expansion plans into new markets
  • Collate cross-functional strategic launch plans for new market launches across Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, CRM, PR and Social.
  • Oversee creation of eCommerce trading and loyalty calendar
  • Build out our online category expansion globally and work with our NPD on future products that will drive growth to CT.com.
  • Provide strategic input on online exclusives that will entice customers.

Website Enhancements amp; Development:

  • Responsible for working closely with the Head of Product to align the CT.com product roadmap in conjunction with other key stakeholders, determining development priorities across Tech, Ecommerce, Loyalty and Retention for maximum commercial benefit.
  • Lead ongoing optimisation of the website transactional functionality to increase sales and service
  • Ensure that all design and development projects meet key objectives in terms of commercial performance, quality and carry out full post implementation analysis.
  • Devise internationalisation growth strategy and oversee the launch of new country sites, currencies, payment types, tax rates, delivery methods and languages with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-going benchmarking of other e-commerce retail sites to provide suggestions for meaningful and on-brand strategic enhancements and partnerships as they pertain to customer journey, loyalty, retention and site navigation.

Budget / Pamp;L Management:

  • Leading the senior managers within the team to execute a comprehensive 5-year plan of sales and investment and accompanying growth strategy documentation to support the plan
  • Continuous work to maximise profitability of the CT.com channel, by reducing costs and maximising revenue globally
  • Oversee creation and management of global Ecommerce budget

Loyalty amp; Retention:

  • Oversee the enhancement of our long-term strategy for customer retention that will optimize lifetime value, focused on the continued rollout of our new Loyalty program
  • Collaborate with Technology team to outline the systems requirements needed to support advocacy initiatives and on-site enhancements
  • Assist the Loyalty Manager in delivering on Phase 3 of the Loyalty program, including additional gated areas of the site housing exclusive content, product and rewards and the launch of a revolutionary subscription and replenishment program
