Job Description

Corin, a manufacture of hip and knee implants based in Cirencester Love Lane, are seeking a Cleanroom amp; Packaging Team Leader is to lead the cleanroom and packaging operatives and ensure that they are completing their tasks in line with quality procedures and in a timely and efficient manner.

The key responsibilities of the Cleanroom amp; Packaging Team Leader:

  • Ensure all products are manufactured to the appropriate specification.
  • Ensure compliance with all documented procedures and accurate and full completion of records.
  • Ensure clear segregation of accepted and non-conforming products.
  • Execute the plan created by Production Planning
  • Ensuring there is sufficient skills and resource to support the plan.
  • Releasing/requesting people in line with the plan.
  • Reporting achievement of plan or actions being taken to recover any shortcomings against plan.
  • Make decisions about manning that ensure the appropriate resource is allocated to each area to execute the plan.
  • Escalate any technical or people issues that will prevent execution of the shift plan.
  • Ensure there is a clear structure during handover to minimise downtime and maximise output.
  • Ensure all work on the shop floor is identified with the correct priority
  • Check the colour coding of work in the cell every shift
  • Maintain symphony notes in prescribed formats.
  • Highlight any current working practices that prevent optimum production performance
  • Provide clear and visible leadership to all team members in respect of adherence to quality procedure.
  • Be involved in relevant investigations to identify and correct root causes of quality related concerns.
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to Company and legislative requirements for Health amp; Safety.
  • Ensure all equipment is in safe working order prior to team members commencing work.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO13485 QMS amp; Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820.
  • Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective amp; Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA.

Requirements

The ideal Cleanroom amp; Packaging Team Leader will;

  • Be familiar with cleanroom and packaging techniques
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and work under pressure
  • Lead from the front by understanding all the duties and responsibilities of the cleanroom operative’s roles.
  • Previous team leading or managing experience highly preferred
