GLOSSYBOX is the leading luxury subscription-based beauty box service trading in the Nordics, France, UK and US, alongside Germany. Our business concept unites premier brands from the cosmetics industry with customers and beauty enthusiasts in an innovative and direct manner. Whether one chooses to subscribe to our exclusively curated limited edition box or wants to opt for the monthly box subscription, our customers always receive selected beauty products delivered straight to their door - from well-known brands to exciting, upcoming brands.

About the Role:

Summary:

As senior sourcing manager you will be responsible for managing GLOSSYBOX end to end sourcing strategy. The successful candidate will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing strategy whilst analysing budgets, building relationships and successfully launching new innovative sampling solutions aligned to the global marketing calendar. The preferred candidate will exude an entrepreneurial spirit and have a good balance of creative and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for setting localised strategies, managing budgets, quality scoring and setting local sourcing targets for GLOSSYBOX. As a strong, identifiable brand loved by celebrities and influencers, we are seeing remarkable growth. Our unrivalled marketing campaigns offer brands an incredible opportunity to sample and understand more from potential customers thanks to our monthly product surveys.
You will be a beauty addict. You will be responsible for introducing the world’s best brands, from adored premium, to everyday favourites to brand new, secret finds. Quality is paramount to instil trust in our loyal subscribers.

You will have a strong understanding of the UK beauty market to identify key partners for our business. You should have good political, cultural and economic awareness to identify opportunities, and potential issues, which we need to navigate as a business. You should have strong experience developing campaigns with major beauty brands at a senior level.

You will have strong commercial acumen, impressive sales pedigree, good people skills and you should be ambitious, quick-thinking and good at problem solving. Importantly you will understand the importance of best representing a global brand culturally, both with brand partners and ensuring high quality product for our customers.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience within sourcing/buying
  • Proven experience with vendor management Understanding of beauty market preferred but not essential
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • 5years experienced sales/marketing professional
  • Proven end-to-end sales skills prospecting, pipeline management, closing, negotiation.
