Competitive Salary + Car amp; Benefits
Our Marshalls mission is ‘Creating Better Spaces’. We’re a Superbrand for the 10th year running and a successful FTSE 250. The brand is synonymous with Quality; supplying prestigious landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, while also caring for the environment and communities in which it operates.
As a result of our continued success, we are now recruiting for a proven and dynamic quality professional with a strong background within a medium or large manufacturing operation to join us. The position will provide additional support to the group quality strategy and associated initiatives, alongside direct responsibility for two site quality teams within the Marshalls Civils and Drainage operational sites.
So what’s the mission?
Reporting to the Head of Group Quality, you will support and help shape an exciting and progressive quality agenda, working effectively across a range of key stakeholders.
At a group level you will manage a variety of quality related projects, assist with quality escalations and provide key quality support including data analysis and reporting. You will take a lead on the development of quality training and management systems, with simple, relevant and standardised processes that support our quality accreditations (ISO 9001) and add value to the business. It will be a diverse role in a fast-paced environment and you will be comfortable juggling and prioritising work demands. Tasked with delivering quantifiable and demonstrable benefits to the business (especially around the cost poor quality), you will seek out and act on win/win opportunities.
Having responsibility for quality teams at the Civils and Drainage operational sites (Mells and Pollington), you will provide direction, guidance and hands on support to both the strategy and (BAU) business as usual activities. Acting as the point of contact for quality escalations, you will work closely with site teams to achieve objectives, maintain compliance and improve quality.
If this sounds like the job for you and you are excited to be part of our quality journey we would love to hear from you!
