As part of your role as a Bookkeeping amp; Outsourcing Manager you will work closely with a range of different clients from multiple different sectors to provide a seamless virtual finance service. Your main duties will include- preparing information for VAT returns, assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, preparing income and expense analysis, liaising with clients to complete fillings and answer any queries and working on cloud accounting software. As the team Manager, you will be involved in direct staff management, department work planning, appraisals and directly guiding more junior team members to provide both technical and day to day guidance to support their journey.
The ideal candidate will have excellent digital accounting knowledge, the ability to problem solve and previous team management experience. You will be passionate about digital accounting solutions and can come from either a practice or industry background. As you are working in a managerial role, we would be looking for you to understand job costing and pricing and be able to take ownership of this area for the team. In addition, you will have excellent technical knowledge relating to VAT, financial reporting, and management accounts. This position is key to driving forward our bookkeeping and outsourcing service line, therefore it is an excellent career move for someone looking to join an ambitious business with genuine progression opportunities.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident liaising with clients directly. In addition, we are looking for someone that is comfortable working using cloud accountancy software packages (such as Xero) and has a natural interest in how technology can make life easier for our clients!
