What does a Managing Consultant do at Infinity Works?
As a Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring our engagements are being delivered for customers at the quality level expected of Infinity Works. Alongside this you’ll ensure our people are appropriately managed, supported, engaged, happy and have direction.
Being a Managing Consultant means you'll have around 50-70 Infinity Works employees under your care. You will mentor, support and manage our Account Leads, help them develop themselves and their teams, ensure that feedback is widely maintained across staff and clients. Working with the Account Leads you’ll also support the Infinity Works colleagues in these accounts with their journey at Infinity Works. This includes helping the individual and the Account Lead with career development, promotions and mentoring through to working with the Local Boards and People Ops for reward and remuneration and performance.
Finally, where things are going wrong with a customer delivery, the Managing Consultant is accountable for ensuring the problems are fixed swiftly. You'll be expected to provide leadership to Account Leads under your management and correctly identify and pragmatically resolve issues impacting delivery for those customers, whilst providing regular updates to the Relationship Leads and Technical Directors. This is key to maintaining Infinity Works’ excellent reputation for delivering.

Requirements
We’re looking for people with a range of backgrounds; You’ll either come from a Consulting background where you held a senior position, or formed part of a management team or have come from an Engineering/Delivery Background where you’ve been a Head of, or a Senior Manager.
Ideally you’ll have lead teams, projects and been responsible for a budget. You’ll understand the lifecycle of delivering projects, how to communicate with people at all levels, have a passion to develop people and share our open and honest approach.
