Treasury Analyst (Back Middle Office)

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Treasury Middle Office team at Starling Bank. This role will help identify, measure and manage all specific Financial, Market and Transactional Risks emanating from the Front Office.
The individual will have experience of working in a Treasury team and able to contribute to helping deliver a 'best in class' Middle Office function.
Key responsibilities for the role will be to:
- Provide trade and post-trade support to the Treasury Front Office
- Cash Management for Treasury and Group payments
- Perform Daily Trade Reconciliations (MM, FX, Bonds and Derivatives)
- Reconcile Treasury Assets with Custody Agent Banks
- Perform Trade Key Control Checks (Limits Monitoring, Settlement, Deal Confirmations etc.)
- Be a Middle Office Liaison with Front and Back Office (Breaches, Corporate Actions etc.)
- Validate and process ISDA Confirmations
- Ensure timely and accurate MiFID and EMIR regulatory reporting
- Undertake Treasury Investigations (Treasury Settlement, Reconciliation Breaks and Reporting)
- Agree Collateral Variation Margin movements with Counterparty Banks
- Maintain External Bank and Internal relationships
- Cash and Securities Collateral with CP's and SCM's, including SWAPS
- Maintain TMS static data including counterparty ratings and FX rates
- Assist the Middle Office Manager with Treasury Pamp;L Analysis and Reporting, including assurance of assets, risk and FX and counterparty exposure.
- Produce Daily Management Information for the Senior Management Team
- Contribute to embedding and maintaining a robust controls framework in the Middle Office
- SME support for Treasury Projects and New Business initiatives
Requirements
- Experience of working in either a Treasury Back or Middle Office function.
- Detailed overall knowledge of OTC Derivatives, Money Market, Fixed Income and FX products
- Collateral Management and SWAPS Administration experience
- Experience of Reconciliation, Pamp;L Analysis and Management Reporting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of using a Treasury Management System
- Have a flexible approach to working hours required to fulfil the role
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritise work whilst working remotely.
Ideally you should have:
- Experience of TMS implementation, including User Acceptance Testing.
- VBA and SQL experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
