You don’t need a teaching qualification to work with Tutor Doctor because we find that subject enthusiasts get equally great results with our support. Naturally, we enthusiastically welcome applications from people who do have teaching qualifications.
Tutor Doctor ABC is a local business that is part of the Tutor Doctor network. We help students achieve their full academic potential. We do this through the provision of one-to-one education in the student's home. Work will be local to you.

Requirements
You live or work in Buckinghamshire, or the Bucks side of Herts, or NW London (Ruislip, Pinner, Northwood, Denham etc)
Have in-depth subject knowledge of: English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing, Editing or similar.
Have a degree, are studying for a degree, teaching or TA qualification.
You genuinely care about others and helping them learn
Experience of teaching, including voluntary work, or tutoring - or be willing to learn from us.

We have work in Amersham, Aylesbury, Beaconsfield, Berkhamstead, Chesham, Chalfont-Saint-Peter, Chalfont-St-Giles, Little Chalfont, Tring, Great Missenden, Little Missenden, Marlow Bottom, Ruislip, Rickmansworth, High Wycombe, and nearby.

All Tutor Doctor clients have been visited and vetted by ourselves, but as a self-employed tutor you choose which students you want to accept, and your own hours. Yet you have Tutor Doctor backing you with guidance on the curriculum, help finding course materials, and any other advice you need. We support you every step of the way.
We handle all contracts, so you are given long-term assignments, are paid monthly, and on time. Hourly rates are 18 - 25 according to experience, qualifications, and the level you will be teaching. We will pay more for candidates with outstanding experience and qualifications.
Up to date DBS/CRB is essential, but we can help you with this.
