Job Description

At Catapult, we’re building the employee app for frontline workforces. We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Intern to join our fast-paced, early-stage SaaS startup. You’ll get a unique chance to build up skills and experience within growth hacking, whilst getting to experience what it’s like to work for an exciting tech startup.

You’ll work directly with our Strategy Director on managing our outbound growth marketing strategy which includes analysing new market segments, identifying lead sources, learning how to use various tools for extracting, targeting and managing a lead universe - with the ultimate goal of creating MQLs for our sales team. You will gradually become responsible for one of the key pillars of our growth engine and work closely with all our teams across strategy, marketing, sales and product.

To succeed in this role you’ll need to be hungry to learn, have a knack for technology and data and thrive in fast-paced environments. We don’t care about your background or degree, as we believe that your mindset is what will make you succeed.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Research new sectors and find relevant leads in our target market that we can email
  • Help manage the outbound marketing process. Analyse the data on a weekly basis and make recommendations for improvement
  • Manage the sales and marketing inbox. Book meetings with leads that reply to the outbound cadences

Requirements

  • An interest in technology
  • A knack for numbers, analysis and spreadsheets
  • Competitive and hungry to win
  • Natural curiosity and ability to quickly learn and relate to new things

Benefits

  • Kickstarter base salary + performance bonus based on meetings booked
  • Remote working: Catapult is a fully remote company, so you can be based anywhere in the world (but the Kickstarter programme is limited to the UK).
  • Flexible hours: As a Kickstarter intern, you’ll be working 25 hours per week. Together with your manager, you get to decide your work schedule.
  • A social work-life: We are a small and sociable group. We stay connected daily with Zoom kick-offs every morning, 1-1s, and social catch-ups over quizzes and remote beers.
  • Professional development: We think learning is key to winning so we have created a learning budget of 500 per person to spend on courses, conferences, coaching or whatever you think will help you improve and grow.
