Job Description

At Kooth, our sole purpose is to create easy to access online mental health services.

We became the first digital mental health company to list on the London Stock Exchange in 2020; now is a great time to join and help us support more people towards better mental health.

We are looking for an experienced audio visual creative to help create new and engaging content that will really make a difference. Working with our talented content team, you will be highly creative in your approach, balancing clinical considerations with the need to appeal to our many different audiences.

This is a remote position and we are happy to accept applications from UK wide candidates.

What you’ll do/Main Responsibilities
  • Work with the Head of Content, Content Lead and wider team to develop a creative and compelling audio/visual strategy in line with wider business goals, and to lead on implementing plans
  • Take a fresh approach to content to reach new and harder-to-reach audiences, while working within essential clinical boundaries and with a keen eye on outcomes and measurement
  • Pay close attention to our data and other research to inform planning, ensuring content is relevant, engaging and supportive
  • To know your audiences via data, ongoing consultation with service users and Kooth teams and to bring this knowledge to bear on all projects
  • To involve service users where possible, with a view to guided co-creation in partnership with our Participation team
  • To work with other teams at Kooth (marketing, commercial, service delivery, clinical, etc) to ensure content is aligned, to gain buy-in and to ensure there is widespread awareness of our plans internally and externally
  • To report regularly on progress, sharing data to evidence the impact of audio and visual content
  • To be aware of Kooth’s strict safeguarding processes and responsibilities, ensuring the safety of our community remains a priority
  • To line manage members of the team and to conduct regular appraisals, setting clear objectives and identifying training needs
  • To represent the team in meetings or with customers and commissioners as appropriate

The main responsibilities are not an exhaustive list of duties, only a general guide to the post. In consultation with the post-holder, the duties may change from time to time to reflect the changing needs of the service.
