Working within our functions departments, you would be supporting all of our business globally

Requirements

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

Project Management

• Provide Project Management resource for a designated portfolio of ITO projects and work with the resources of the ITO team (and other Mamp;I and other colleagues as necessary) to ensure delivery of the project plan on time, in full.

For new projects:

• Formulate initial project scopes and delivery structure
• Set KPIs with collaboration partners for projects
• Generate all legal agreements and framework documents.
• Coordinate actions to ensure project teams are aware of what is required of them and by when, and follow up regularly to monitor performance.
• Coordinate project meetings and ensure external collaborators are included, and their needs are being managed. Take notes and update Project Management software to ensure all are aware of critical actions and deadlines.
• Manage each project through the various early innovation stage gates by ensuring all required inputs are available on time.
• Liaise with external suppliers to ensure they deliver what was requested on time and to budget.
• Ensure that all work is proceeding to plan, and where they are not escalating risk, issues and dependencies to the Innovation Deployment Manager or Head of Science for resolution.

• Manage the regular ITO Project update meetings, and report on each project’s progression and next steps during these meetings on behalf of the project team.
• Regularly update Project Spend and track this against project budgets.
• Ensure all ITO projects comply with wider RI and Mamp;I PMO Guidelines.
• For projects that progress, maintain early and appropriate engagement of all Mamp;I and other central colleagues as necessary to ensure, and appropriate alignment and expectations for delivering the project.
• Maintain the ITO Project Management Framework along with the Innovation Deployment manager - monitor through a PM review process and introduce upgrades as and when required to improve coordination and efficiency

Communications

• Produce PM News to communicate project status and important updates internally in the team and to a wider Mamp;I audience to ensure alignment of expectations
• Present project status and progress to internal Mamp;I audiences, including at the IFF, and collaborate at all stages of the project cycle with the other Mamp;I teams to ensure a smooth and efficient transition of projects into other teams within Mamp;I.
