We’re looking for SDET / Quality Assurance Engineer professionals that will take part in the development process of the company's existing and new products and to ensure they are the best they can be.

We are looking for SDET's to help design and deliver a range of new services for our cutting edge banking platform and digital asset exchange.You need to be enthusiastic, hardworking, proactive and willing to enhance yourself as well as the company.

We are looking for mid/senior level engineers that take ownership of their work. This means identifying and liaising with all stakeholders as and when needed to maintain delivery progress. You'll need to be proactive about identifying blockers, seeking help and chasing vendors for answers and support. There is no time to delegate these responsibilities to other people or wait passively for a problem to fix itself. You'll be surrounded by people that want to see you succeed because we all share in each others success.

Reporting to the of Head of Quality Assurance in the QA team which is responsible for the functional and non functional test strategy, design, development, execution and reporting; release management and quality control; your main daily tasks will be analysing products-in-development and creating (largely) automated test cases for it as it’s being built. Expanding the current QA team you will champion your own products and tools within the department too.

You will join a fast-paced rising FinTech startup, we raised over $14 million to in crowdfunding and future finance campaigns. As we scale and more users adopt our platform, the need for a strong SDET is mandatory.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years (mid)/4+ years (senior) professional SDET/QA experience
• Good knowledge of C#
• Exposure to BDD Frameworks
• Have strong experience with non-functional testing, key focus on Security and Performance
• Monitoring and alerting systems
• Experience with multiple object-oriented languages and experience with Test Automation tools
• Knowledge of different types of Test Management and Bug Tracking systems
• Strong expertise in building CI / CD pipelines
• Containerisation and Orchestration knowledge
• An understanding of Cloud engineering
• Python and Bash scripting skills
• Functional understanding of relational databases and SQL
• A willingness to learn and use Kubernetes and Terraform
• A keen interest to expand your skill set Python, Golang.

Extra:

• Experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable
• Experience with Kafka is highly desirable
• Experience with Istio is desirable
• Experience of GCP/GKE is desirable
• Experience of Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) is a plus
• Domain knowledge of FinTech, Banking, Cryptoassets and Payments is highly desirable
• Blockchain interest or experience is a plus
