React JavaScript Engineer - contract
We’re replacing our PHP/JQuery based B2B event admin, dashboard and reporting service from the inside out with React.
We use modern JavaScript techniques to implement new and innovative solutions to difficult business problems. We love the power and flexibility React gives us. We transpile with babel, meaning you can work with all the new JavaScript hotness whilst supporting older browsers, we build with webpack and deploy with Travis.

You will also work on frontend technical tasks to improve our frontend architecture, improve the performance and usability of our service, make use of new technologies, reduce complexity, write and maintain a growing collection of open source libraries and make development easier.
Requirements
Strong knowledge and experience with JavaScript React
Familiar with CSS including preprocessing (SASS, LESS or Stylus) and/or CSS in JS solutions/CSS modules
Familiar with modern web development workflows (Babel, Webpack)
Some experience of the Open Source Community or a desire to get involved with it
We scale with ease using AWS, launch staging environments via our Slack bot and automate Jira away so you almost don't notice it’s there
