Job Description

Belmond have a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Trade Support Executive, Leisure - UK amp; Northern Europe to join the Belmond Commercial Organisation (BCO).

The Travel Trade Support Executive, Leisure UK amp; Northern Europe is responsible for supporting the team of Account Managers and Account Directors through the timely and accurate delivery of a series of administrative tasks.

The role is also responsible for keeping in regular contact with the Customers managed by the team of Account Directors within the geographic market, assisting them with conversion of FIT enquiries, special requests, investigations on unpaid commissions, etc.

The Travel Trade Support Executive is also required to have regular communications with the sales teams at property level, to ensure the information provided to Customers is always current and personalized.

The purpose of this role is to alleviate the administrative burden from the above property sales teams, allowing them to effectively concentrate on business development and revenue generation. Another important purpose of this role is a personal contribution to enhance the overall Customer experience by minimizing the time elapsing between a Customer request and the elaboration of a personalized answer.

The assigned geographic territories, market and industry segments, and main location for the role are subject to change with a 4-week notice depending on the Company’s needs and variable market conditions.


MAIN DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

Bellini Club (BC) Administration

  • Act as Bellini Club Concierge for all member agencies owned by Account Directors / Managers within the assigned geographic territories
  • Proof for accuracy all annual agreements, ensure all agreements are signed and uploaded in Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC) in a timely manner
  • Produce regular Production and Pace reports for BC member agencies within the territory

Consortia

  • Ensure all relevant information about agencies members of all consortia are constantly updated
  • Enter new prospect accounts into OSC as directed by the Account Directors/Managers

Tour Operators (TO) and non-retail Accounts

  • Assist Account Directors/Managers in ensuring the websites of Tour Operators are reflective of accurate Belmond product information and all info is portrayed to be on brand
  • Complete competitive analysis as required by Account Directors/Managers, research Accounts that sell and promote direct competitors
  • Prepare TO Contract Agreements, in keeping with Belmond standards and templates, for all Tour Operators that are negotiated and contracted above property

Database Management

  • Maintain accurate and up to date Account and Contact data in OSC as directed by Account Directors / Managers
  • Update sales activities in OSC as directed by Account Directors / Managers

Production and Sales Reports

  • Produce and analyse monthly and quarterly production reports as required by Account Directors / Managers, with proficient and proactive use of all available Account Management and Business Intelligence tools (OSC, Tableau, Pipeline Tracker, Groups Drumbeat, etc.)

Product Knowledge

  • Be constantly informed of all latest Belmond products’ news, offers, promotions, etc and provide the sales team with the most up-to-date presentations and collateral.

Customer Events

  • Assist Account Directors/Managers in organizing, planning and executing all Customer events, including roadshows, trade shows, sales missions, and inbound sales trips for property-based sales directors.
  • Assist in setting up and managing WebEx product training sessions for both property-based sales directors and above property account directors / managers
  • Support Account Directors/Managers with the organization and delivery of virtual Customer sales events and presentations

General

  • Process supplier invoices through Workday and keep track of expenses related to sales activities carried out by Account Directors / Managers and monitor year-to-date expenses are in line with budgeted funds
  • Complete any additional task that is directly related to increase the team of Account Directors/Managers productivity and efficiency as directed by the Divisional Director of Sales or the VP, Global Sales.
  • Serve as out-of-office backup for Account Directors/Managers when they are travelling on business
  • Attend and actively contribute to regular sales meetings
  • Master usage of all available BI tools provided by Tableau, and implement a regular strategic analysis of markets, properties and account performance.
