LuxDeco is a luxury online marketplace, and we are transforming how people around the world shop for luxury furniture and homeware. Following a significant recent funding round, we are expanding our team and are looking for an experienced front end developer to join our engineering team to solve the technical challenges that come with building the World’s no.1 marketplace.
Background
Luxury interiors is a challenging industry. Customers rightly have high expectations. Operationally we interact with a global network of artisan suppliers and delivery partners - meaning we face challenges above and beyond those associated with typical commerce.
To solve these problems we’re building a bespoke platform that will eventually manage all areas of the business, from warehousing and logistics through to custom-built, AI-driven storefronts.
Our goal is to have the largest luxury product database in the World, backed by the slickest, most accurate delivery experience, completely personalised for each individual user.
Requirements
As a front-end React developer you’ll be working on a variety of projects. Our core platform will power the business, and through it’s APIs will support an ecosystem of apps including our redesigned online marketplace, and Tastemakers - our content curation tool aimed at influencers within the interiors sector.
As a trusted member of the team you’ll also have the opportunity to impact the business directly with your own creative ideas, as we offer 10% time where you can spend half a day a week working on an idea of your own.
