Requirements
- Line Manage, mentor and coach the SDET team
- Champion of test automation
- Guardian of production readiness
- Own to the overall test automation strategy
- Build robust automated testing plans that accurately estimate efforts
- Coordinate feature teams test automation and update automated regression tests
- Automate QA metric reporting, such as test execution, coverage, defect densities and open defect counts
- Embed tooling within the SDLC to analyse and predict the quality of our products
- Be a top-class critical thinker, automating at every turn to keep regression at bay
- Lead defect triage during software delivery
Skill and Experience
- Good experience in Java (Scala or Python would be a bonus)
- 5+ years of working experience in a software quality assurance position
- Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing best practice techniques, tools and processes including
- cucumber, selenium, webdriver, appium, gatling, postman
- continuous integration , git, jira, confluence
- spring, junit, mock libraries
- linux, bash
- Expert at organisational and time-management skills
- Be able to handle demands, targets, guidelines, and high stress situations
- Excellent communicator with a strong command of the English language
- You have designed and implemented systems using OOP, Agile, TDD and BDD
- You are a proactive problem solver who can prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience in the following testing;
- highly transactional platforms
- functional, API, acceptance, contract testing
- cloud infrastructure
- security, data integrity, performance, resilience
- An inherent need for tea and biscuits
