Financial Accountant (ACA/ACCA)

The business has a newly created role for a Financial Accountant to join the team, this position will work closely with the UK Financial Controller but assist in wider group activities. An excellent opportunity for a first time mover from practice looking for an interesting, broad role within a growing company offering opportunities for progression.

Role:

• Producing group consolidations through UK amp; ROW
• Statutory and tax reporting - reviewing current reports and amending/implementing new
• Preparing financial reports to assess financial performance of the business
• Analysing financial information across the business, supporting profitability and growth through recommendations
• Producing company statutory accounts, making observations of the financial state of the business
• Preparing month end and year end reports, reviewed by Financial Controller
• Cash flow management, re-modelling and forecasting with internal Managers
• Preparing and submitting VAT/Tax amp; pension returns
• Managing reconciliation accounts, reporting and reconciling of balance sheets
• Assisting the Financial Controller implement efficient and diligent financial practices
• Making suggestions for system/process improvements where needed

Experience:

• ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong financial accounting background.
• Practice trained looking for a first time move into industry.
• Highly adaptable and looking to work for a driven, stable business offering exciting opportunities.
• excellent communication skills
• Strong IT skills including advance MS Excel

• Strong IT skills including SAP and Advanced MS Excel
